Below are two songs which are very dear at the time of the Christmas – the famous Jingle Bells, and Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer.
I played this tune as a tribute to the NHS staff in the UK for their dedication and sacrifice during this difficult time due to Covid19. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
This tune is a tribute to all the Sri Lankans bravely facing this difficult time due to COVID19.
“Wana Dewliya Thurule” is an all-time favourite song by Indrani Perera, a legendary Sri Lankan singer in the 1970s. The song is about the exquisite frescos on a massive column of rock. Sigiriya is one of the world heritage sites with a grand historical and archaeological significance that draws thousands of tourists around the world every year.
This is a tune I played for the forthcoming Christmas, 2019. This was a popular song by Wham! in the 80s. After hours of practice, that in turn left me with some scars on my little fingers, I managed to play it on my Yamaha classical guitar first and then on my electro-acoustic guitar.
